On January 15th, Source Point Press launched a Kickstarter for a collection of horror stories by author Kasey Pierce titled Pieces of Madness. This new edition of the underground hit features exclusive stories and illustrations. The Kickstarter will run for 30 days and offers a variety of rewards, many of which are exclusive to this online event.
In 2014, Kasey Pierce released her debut collection of short stories through Rocket Ink Studios. It sold out in TWO DAYS. Since then, Pieces of Madness has been reprinted in limited quantities before going out of print. Now publisher Source Point Press brings you back to the madness in this all-new edition. It’s been completely re- packaged with brand new cover art by world renown comic book artist Ryan Lee, along with interior illustrations by some of the best illustrators working in the indie scene today, and two new additional stories exclusive to this edition.
“We’re excited to be doing a prose release with Kasey Pierce, especially with the success of her current comic book series we publish, Norah” says Source Point Press Editor-In-Chief Travis McIntire. “Pieces of Madness brings together horrific stories rooted in both the supernatural as well as the chillingly realistic. It’s the perfect book for our horror reader base.”
The Kickstarter rewards offer a large variety of price tiers, giving readers options such as their choice of art print from illustrations within the book, a limited edition art print exclusive to the Kickstarter, a signed grindhouse-style dark and sexy photo of the author, or even a special signed and numbered hardcover edition of the book with a slipcase (limited to only 500 copies). “Horror is what we love here at Source Point Press, so we put a lot of love into the details of this book and campaign” says Art Director Joshua Werner. “If you’re a horror fan, you’ll love Kasey’s work, and I encourage you to check out some of the neat items you can nab during this special preorder.”
Source Point Press is a Detroit-based publisher of horror, supernatural, occult and pulp comics, novels, and art books. Founded in 2012 by Joshua Werner and Trico J. Lutkins, Source Point Press slowly paid their dues on the convention circuit, churning out titles. That hard work has begun to pay off as they find themselves as one of the fastest growing small press publishers in the industry!
